From the top navigation bar in TAG, select Items and New.
Use the menu on the left to select the type of test item. Hover over each box for a short description.
Any item type can be used for any subject area or grade. Get creative with how you assess student's knowledge!

Multiple Choice
Single Response - Student selects only one correct answer.
Multiple Response - Student selects one or more correct answers.
True/False -Student chooses True or False.
Inline Choice - Student selects the correct answer(s) from one or more drop-down menus located within the text.
Text Entry
Extended Text (teacher scored) - Student writes an in-depth response to a reading selection or stimulus.
Numeric - Student responds with appropriate numbers in formatted boxes.
Short Text - The student responds by typing a brief string of text, such as a number, word, or phrase. The input will appear below the prompt.
Inline Text - Student types a number or word in context with the surrounding.
Match Order
Match Table Grid - Student matches statements or objects to different categories in a table.
Drag and Drop Inline - Student matches choices from a set to fill the gaps in a given passage of text.
Highlight & Drawing
Hot Spot - Student selects one or more areas of a graphic.
Hot Text - Student selects highlighted text in a sentence, paragraph, or extended reading.
Math
Equation Editor - Student uses an equation editor to complete the answer.
Fraction Model - Student uses a fraction model to complete the answer.
Graphing - Student uses a coordinate grid with basic, intermediate, or advanced graphing techniques to complete the answer.
